Roush Grill on Shadow Gray

Thanks for the replies. The install was easy and took about an hour. The grill was $150 on sale from Roush and required the use of the original stock surround. I broke a few tabs off my old FX grill to get it separated so watch out if you want to keep it. The Roush grill comes with a bracket to optionally install the original Ford grill badge.

Your grille looks awesome!
Okay, I've been drooling over that grille on that link for a good ten minutes BUT how the hell does that thing install?
I see where it says "this grille utilizes the factory surround" but how do YOU utilize the factory surround?
Is there a thread somewhere that has detailed installation instructions?

And those tabs are damn near impossible to release all of em without breaking a few. I broke a few and it still held in there really tight. The stupid clips have a little tab behind them that pretty much prevent you from releasing the clips unless you break the little tab off. You will see what I mean if you tackle it but all in all it's a good 15 minute job, not too hard. Just take a 10mm socket to remove the grille and surround from the truck and a decent sized flat screwdriver to pry those clips, and a beach towel to lay the grille on so you dont scratch the face of it while working on it
