My quad fits in my 5.5 bed Screw!

One of the (many) reasons I wanted a full size truck was so I could put my quad in the bed of the truck and not have to trailer it. I can't stand trailering. It ended up fitting better than expected.

It doesn't even have to ride on the tailgate. I bought a ramprite you can see in the picture. Instead of the ramp resting on the tailgate. It rest on a piece of square steel tubing that connects down to the trailer hitch.

The Grizzly does fit alot better than I thought it would in the 5.5' box. Thats good to know.

BTW, how do you like the 700EFI? I rode one at the Yamaha dealer meeting in Las Vegas and I thought it was very nice, especially the power steering when a snowplow is hanging on the frontend.

Na, you will be good to go. Well except for the tallness and ramp part.

I had the Brute Force 650 as well. I didn't like leaving the tailgate down cause rocks would kick up and chip the paint so I used to take the tailgate off and use a mesh one when the quad was in the back. I finally just bit the bullet and bought a trailer. It's so much easier.

The ramp and the ramprite I got from truckaddons.com for $258 shipped.

Fits better than I thought. I've very happy with power of the 700. I added a doebeck tfi controller and helped add a bit more power as well.

But I agree, power steering is great with my plow attached!

And what the heck...one picture from the fall!

I didn't think the trailer was easier. I found it more of a worry. Plus where we ride, parking is tight and always made for a pain to turn around with a trailer. If I was carrying more than one quad I agree, it would be easier.

I probably wouldn't have bought one if I just owned the quad but also bought it for the snowmobile too. Hauling a 27' enclosed 4 place wasn't much fun if you weren't towing all the sleds. So I guess it serves two purposes for me.

I was also going to ask you if you ever go riding in northern MA or southern NH at all since I live right on the border of NH and MA. I then looked at a map of your town and quickly realized you were down south a ways.

Snowmobile would be a problem. LOL That wouldn't come close. Now I don't blame you for using a trailer!

Anyways, I ride a lot out in Western Mass, and I'm anxiously awaiting the new trails system up in NH. Come check out our forum. We have guys from Maine down to NJ. I'm Koko on that forum.

Where did you get the ramp your using. I need something like that to get mine into my truck. I have a 400ex and everytime I go riding I have to lift it in the truck, and after a full day of riding I really don't feel like lifting it anymore.

I bought a tri-fold ramp from Pep Boys. Only cost me like $70 - $80. If you look for those ramps in ATV magazines etc, they will charge you out the ***. Just go to a local Pep Boys or Auto store and see what they have. The ATV and motorcycle dealers tried to charge me like $250 for the same ramp I bought for $80 at Pep Boys.

I got mine from truckaddons.com Ebay has some as well. My local auto parts stores didn't have what I was looking for and the local dealer wanted $280 for the ramp alone and it was only 45" wide vs the 48" I bought.
