What to do?? Lift/Tires
Ok my Toyo MTs are starting to wear pretty good. The inside of the driver front tire only has about a quarter inch of tred left but the rest is about a half an inch. I still have a while to go Ill really need to get new tires but Im dying to get something bigger. Im looking into a 3" body, 20" KMC Hoss, and 37 or 38" Nittos, Kumhos, or Toyos. Do you think that will look good?
My question is should I wait until these tires are completely dead (probably rotate them) or get the new setup and sell the old while there is still tred left on the tires???

I am at the same point, how many miles did you get out of them so far. I am thinking of getting the weld racing cheyenne's, black mazzi's or a set of expensive daggar's. I want to do a 3" body as well maybe we can find a shop around here that'll do a package deal? I know shops are having trouble getting the bedbolts out so it might be a bad idea to tackle it with a mediocre selection of tools. Some even say they can't do it in the middle of the job.

black hoss's don't look too bad.

how much do you think I could get for my wheels? 10K miles. probably 50% life left. not scratches or curb rashes on chrome. chrome looks new

I'd say more around $1200, considering how worn the tires seem to be.

Agree, cause I was thinking if I could get around $900-$1000 for mine I would be happy.
hey kick ***- as i've gone thru my toyo mts already- once those toyos get a good amount of wear on them they are like the second half of a gas tank- they'll go ALOT quicker than the first half- you'll also need to pay close attention to your alignment so they continue to wear even... its like the top 1/2-3/4 of the tread is a hard long life compound and the base layers are a softer more absorbing compound... they'll get slightly louder too- not that that matters being they are so quiet in the first place.
price wise, i think Thump is right there in the ballpark-
