How long before adding performance parts?

Much like the lift question, I'm wondering how long should I wait before installing a new exhuast and intake on the new truck? My previous truck had about 17k on it before I started modding. This truck currently has 300miles and I already want to get a new intake, exhaust, and the windows tinted. I already installed the Edge right at 300 miles. If it was you how long would you wait?

Personally I am waiting until my warranty expires. If I had lots of money I would mod it out knowing that if something broke I could replace it. Since I don't I am waiting.

I waited to install my tuner but I really don't think it matters too much about a lift.

Depends where you live. Here in Mass, at least the dealers close to me will deny you on powertrain warranty claims if you have a suspension lift.

Just go ahead and put the intake on...If you buy one that has been researched and designed well there will be no problem with it causing problems...

Ford would have to prove that the intake caused an engine malfunction before they could deny a warranty.....

Don't worry about it...It is not extreme enough of a mod to worry about breaking your truck in to install it.....

You'll love the tuner/intake/exhaust combo

Intake you should be fine as long as it isn't out of the ordinary. Don't let the dealer see your tuner or know that you have one. Exhaust should be fine as long as you stay away from anything ahead of the y-pipe while under warranty. I will not be held liable for any warranty claims denied to you by Ford

Dont wait at all, do it all now asap!

You will never finish building the truck if you waste time waiting.

I had my truck since about last summer and it seems as though I'm buying or doing something to it at least every other week.
