I want GPS mounting pics!
I just got my Garmin nuvi 350 GPS in this week. So far it is great! Now my request is to see some GPS mounts. I also want to know if I can splice the power wire from my GPS unit into something to keep from having wires everywhere. I know there is power wire underneath my EDGE mount (I think). I have the Audiophile so I have the 10 gauge (or whatever) wire running next to my emergency brake for the sub. Is there somewhere I can tap into so i don't have wires running to cigarette lighter power ports?

If your gonna pay that much, you should try and find the actual Ford OEM Nav unit on Ebay. I have seen them closing for about the same price and it looks a lot nicer. I just got mine installed, but had to get it reporgramed and it was still about the same price as that one. Just my opinon.

This might sound a little long winded....but I bought a Dell Axim X51, with bluetooth, and purchased a Pharos GPS system, and the bluetooth adaptor, then bought a windshield mounted powered PDA holder, and a cell phone holder that was made to plug into a cigarette lighter, I then cut the back off of the pda holder, and the front off of the cell phone holder sliced the wires, so the pda holder could now be powered by just plugging it into the outlet, now I have a portable system that can be used in any vehicle I have, and I use the PDA daily at work....it's quite a system, and I probably don't have any more $$$ in it than the GPS systems.
