ATTN: Ford Techs & like

I have two questions.
  1. The passenger side firewall, what is mounted right there? Farthers torwards the fender, on the firewall. Would that be the IWE solenoids? . . and is there a vacum line that goes to one of them or what?
  2. Can someone tell me if Ford was so kind as to change the part number for the A/C line with the muffler on it? I was told that it was an updated part. Does anyone know why? I've got the part but I want to make sure its correct. The line I had before, the muffler mounted on a bracket that is on the frame but now the muffler has no place to mount. . does it just hang?

That is the IWE solenoid. There should be two vacuum lines running to it, one side is the intake line and the other is opposite. They run down into a "T", I drew a diagram a while back that showed how it all worked. Here it is.
