05 Flareside bed extender?

I have a bed extender that was for the 04 Sport Trac that I had and was wondering how I could mount it in the bed. I tried the fit out earlier today and it fits almost perfect. Anyone have any ideas of how I could mount it in the bed? Thanks for the help.

Andrew

I'd be interested as well, as I was told there was no bed extender for Flaresides. So if one from a 04ST fits, that may be the way to go. Hopefully someone can help you out....

does it not mount the same way in the f150 as it does in the sport track? go up to the dealership and look at the bed extenders in both the st and the super crew f150s and it should give you a real good idea

I got the bed extender from someone at work. All I had to do was buy the pivot bolts. I'll go by the dealership and get some more pivot bolts and that should work. The hard part now is gonna be drilling into the bed for the pivot bolts and the locking pins.

Actually, the '07 sport trac uses the same tailgate as the F150 flareside, so the width would be a perfect match, and it is longer for the longer tailgate of the F-series (the '04 sport trac used the flareside tailgate from the previous generation F-series)

Don't know about the mounting provisions in the F-150, though.
