Hella Black Headlight Issues

major water leak, the whole light housing is just a big fog storm...is anyone else having this problem? does anyone have suggestions on how to fix it without having to send the damn thing back? Thanks for any help.

Man, that sucks. I don't have the Hellas, but I have the depo's. Mine haven't leaked yet but a few others have. I think they re sealed them somehow, but I don't know about the fog removal. Sorry. Can you contact Hella, and if so what did they say?

I had a leaky Depo. I took the light out and brought into the house to dry it out real good. Once it was dry, I used windshield sealer to run a bead around the light. Real simple just get a good bead between the lens and housing. Not sure how the Hella's are sealed, but if it a bit messy you may want to trim off the messy spots between laying your bead on there. Good luck.

that stinks, why can't some of these aftermarket companies get it right the first time. like the others mentioned, I also used to have the Depo headlights and one of mine leaked too. Now I have the OEM Harleys and no problems in about a year so far now.

I've been thinking of the Hella's and almost pulled the trigger a few days ago.....I think I'll stick with the OE HD heads, at least they'll match my HD tails.

That's the MAIN reason why I'm gonna keep mine too. I want some blackout HL, but it will be hard finding some GOOD TL to match.
