Ground wire placement?

I have a 2006 F-150 FX4 super cab.

I need to run a ground wire for my backup camera.
Where is the easiest place to run this?
If through the fire wall where is the easiest place to get through the fire wall?

If you are looking in the rear of the truck, there is a common ground point for all of the tail lights near the trailer hitch or just use a bolt/screw to tie to any piece of metal. You may want to scrape the paint for a good connection.

If your looking in the cab, the dash supports are all metal and have holes already in there. You can just pass a bolt through one of the holes and it will give you a good ground. No need to pass through the firewall for something like that.

Any metal surface can be used as a grounding point.
