regearing quest.

i was wondering how long i could wait until i regear for my 37s? i havent installed the lift and tires yet, but will be doing so within the next couple of weeks.What rearend do i have i know that most of them come with 9.75s but some came with 10.25s? What gears do you recommend precision, yukon, richmond?

If you have a 4.6, you have an 8.8", 5.4 would be a 9.75". I think the only ones with the 10.25 are the 8200 GVWR trucks. Front is always an 8.8.

i agree with kingfish, also i would not wait to long to regear with 37" your tranny is going to be working pretty hard to get that truck moving. also precision makes the best that i have seen and installed but i have genuin gears and they have had no problems in my truck.
