Edge level 3 shudder chime in.

I am starting this thread in order to register how many of us here are still dealing with the level 3 shudder. Today I called Edge technical support and asked if they had a fix ready and his reply was they have already responded to the shudder issue with updates. He did say I could email them with a list or thread containing replies of people who are still experiencing the shudder problems. Once this thread has been around a while I will email them in hopes of them understanding their product still has some unknown flaws. We'll see. Please let's get the ball rolling on this one, it's worth it to respond at the least.

I'm on level three and I don't have a shudder.
Is this only with the bigger transmission?
I do have the latest update.

Cody over there told me to try Calibration 24. I emailed them about my shudder. He wanted me to try this out even though it is listed as Unstable.

Cal code 24 gave me the worst shudder of all, edge said that code is for 06's and 07's. I've tried everything from 18 to 24 available, 21 and 23 are supposedly the same for 05's, at least that's what they told me. 21 and 23 give me the least shudder, but it's still there.

I've been running level 3 for about two weeks now. I wouldn't call it a shudder, but every once in awhile the truck will jerk...almost like it slipped out of gear for a spit second and is usually compounded when hitting bumps in the road. I had the exact same problem on level 3 in my last F-150..05 reg cab 8' box. Personally, I'm considering going back to level 2 because the "jerking" has never once occured while running it and I can run 87 octane. And IMO, I can't tell that big of a difference in power from level 2 to level 3. I love the Edge for the displays, but I'm really considering sending my XCAL2 back to Troyer to have them program some tunes for this truck.

I plan to fix mine with getting the Livewire as soon as it's released.

I have the shudder and my truck is a 05 and I have 21 on the edge... I almost always run level 2 because the shudder drives me crazy!

What exatly is this "shudder"? Does it feel like the engine is missing? Ever cause the check engine light to come on?

It feels just like the others have explained. It sort of feels mlike a miss, but it is in the transmission. TC locking and unlocking.
