How do you get the cupholder out of the dashboard?

 

First you'll need to remove the radio/heater trim. Pop open the cupholders. Insert finger on far edges under the trim plate and PULL straight out. It takes some force. After the trim is off, there are two bolts holding the cup holder in, remove those and slide it out.

Any reason you're taking it out?

 

Those pesky cupholders!!

 

This sounds insane:

The temp here in Germany hit the mid 20's last week, My cupholder had to be pried out with my ID card. The weather hits 40 degrees and it works fine.

i looked at the track, the rails and there is ALOT of grease on the rails. Hopefully cleaning the rails and using anothe lube will stop it from sticking.

scorpio333, where'd you get your headlights?

 

Ebay, back in Sept 05. They're the basic Depot Harley imitation lights. If I had to do it again I'd go with the pricier Harley's or maybe the Hella's which seem to be easier to find nowadays. The Depot lights lack a few of the finer details the Harley lights have: black trim rings, black cone in front of headlight bulb and darker turn signals. I think the Hella's give you the darker turn signal, but not the other two. I'd like to get the Harley's but been busy with other cash draining mods Maybe this spring I'll upgrade.

 

I bought my HD lights from this guys his name is Ed at parts@y2kford.com. I got my head lights and my tail lights cheaper than any prices I had seen on Ebay for OEM HD ford lights. Give him a holler. FYI, I hope I did not break any rules by posting the e-mail address, sorry if I did.
