Bilsteins for Stock

Anyone upgraded their stock shocks for Bilsteins? I was wondering how they perform. I do mostly city/highway driving and have no lift or anything. I heard they are very stiff, any comments? Thanks!

I love mine. They did make the truck ride a lot better that stock. Helped out with the cornering too

I got the 5100's and I say do it, they are a MAJOR improvment over stock.....
It is a more firm and much more controled ride

I have the Bilstein HD's on my 07. They firmed up the ride, but by no means are they uncomfortable. Cheapest set I found was off shockwarehouse.com 320 delivered.

Tuff4rd, which Bilsteins did you use (part #'s if you have them)?
The 5100's or the 5100 preload adjustable?
I've got a 2" spacer up front and the 1.5" aal in the rear, I was wondering which set would be the best.

Thanks guys for all the comments. Think I will go Bilstein and the cheapest I found was shockwearhouse.com. $80 for the front shocks, I thought it was a mistake, maybe I should order them quickly before the price changes! I will let everyone know MY opinion when I get them installed. Oh and I just realized the search feature and found hundreds of posts just like mine. Oh well, at least I popped my F150online cherry!

80 for the front?? are you sure those arnt the rear, I paid 80 for each rear and 150 or somthing for each front. those were the 5100's though maybe you are looking at the standard replacement

I had 2.5 DS spacers before they were removed in place of the 5100's...
Theses are the one's I have on the truck now..

It was hardly a race with bumper to bumper traffic, the guy just got on my @ss and pulls next to me and revs his truck

I would have loved to been on a open highway with him pulling that crap on me Wait, dont tell me that was you????
I have not seen you around lately, did you move?
