Bought my first pickup!

05 F-150, 4x4, XLT, supercab, dark shadow grey

Sticker 21,991

bought for 17,980

traded 01 civic ex for 9,000

LOVE this truck so far!

Just wanted to say hi and that Im excited about my new truck, except for the fact Im a Broke Joker now......hahaha

I love it too! Sitting that high.....cars get out of your way now....hahaha

Ill probably be pretty sad when I get the gas bill.....but get this. My insurance went down 70 dollars a month! How the hell does that happen?

Dark last night when I brought it home, snow storm today....

The truck is safer then the car. Congrats on the truck.

You will especially have lower insurance if your civic was a 2-door, since then it would be in the "sports coupe" category and thus the insurance is higher. I ran into the same problem when I had my '93 Geo Metro (gasp!!!). I paid more for that stupid car than for any of my trucks (except my 05 since it is the first vehicle that I have had full coverage on). Trucks are safer, and the people who drive them tend to be safer (except a bunch of the people on this forum, as evidence by the recent rash of crashes.... sorry guys )
