thats a good question, i've been waiting for companys to come out with kits for electric fan's and headers for the 4.6 but to no avail. Only super chargers that would work is from mustangs but i hav'nt seen anyone try it out yet. Although the kenne bell roots would be a nice upgrade. I'm guessing it should'nt be to hard since they are pretty much the same heads as the 2v GTs.

I think it was patriot performance, that was using pickup 4.6 heads and porting and polishing them for the mustang's. You could pick up a set from them with performance cam's and they should bolt right up to your truck.

try this link....

Good Luck!

Try Procharger.com and see if they have anything. I live nearby and I know they have something for the Mustang but not sure about our trucks. About a year ago I got an '05 STX with the 4.6. Traded in an '04 5.4. I'm much happier with the 4.6 as the 5.4 was always in the shop. The lack of power is a concern sometimes but I can deal with it as my other truck was always in the shop. I know that Edge also makes a programmer which seems to popular. Good luck...

I did'nt know they came with them on the 5.4's....i figured that ford went cheap with the whole line of trucks. I've asked about this before and everyone said i'd have to get a "universal style" fans and have them installed. But i'd rather go with a bolt up kit that looks stock, if they got it.

Since it's only a 4.6, try a roots style blower. It'll have more power down low where you need it without having to rev it so much to get the tourqe you want, unless if your into highway speeds , then the procharger would be more up your alley.

But anyway you go it's better than stock.

P.S. do some research on the mustang forum's, they have loads of knowledge on the 4.6 and how it react's with each style. Here's some good sites to look up.

I have been investigating whipple for the 4.6. The guy who did all the custom tunes on my lightning figures a whipple on my 4.6 would provide 380 rear wheel hp with a safe tune.

Well i'm glad some company's started to come out with some things. Seem'd like the 5.4 was swamped with mods, now it's our turn

The wheels will have to wait, i'm gettin those headers....unless they come out with long tubes.... ......but i hate waitin longer than i already have.

Thanks for the links guys!
