Front license plate

How do you get that thing off.The top is easy but the bottom part seems to be a pain in the ****. I do not want to force it and scratch the paint.

Force it (like alot of us did), or you can remove the lower valance if you want to waste your time.

Ripped mine off and just broke a couple little tabs, it still hooks on when I go for inspections....Mass. requires them but I think they look stupid so I dont put it on.

I was able to reach up behind the bumper with a flat blade screwdriver and press the tabs in and removed it with no damage.

I used a utility knife and cut the 2 bottom supports, the top just clamped on the bumper

I live in TX and I know we are supposed to have one on the front. I didn't get a mount when I bought my truck. I know have one in the garage but I don't have it on the truck. i have heard you can get a ticket for this. I was under the impression that if your vehicle didn't have a factory mount on the front you were not required to have one.
