Key fob question.

I did a search on this and no luck, my wife tried the remote start on our o4 screw this morning, no luck. When she went outside the remote unlock would not work either. My question is since we have her mustang parked for the winter can I take a battery out of the fob for that, and try it in the scew fob? That way I have a quick answer if it is a battery problem. Thank for your help in advance.

its either that battery problem, or a bigger battery problem on the truck...

It's not the trauck battery, she opened the door lock with the key, then it fired right up, was only 8 degrees here this morning.

I've found the factory start is terrible in the cold weather, I finally went aftermarket. Others might have a better answer or actually a fix for you.

Who really needs the remote start in winter anyway?
