Dunno about that one. I tried a wireless in my motorhome, ended up putting in wire...
still, may be worth a shot.

As to 400 bucks for a camera system, no you can do it for about 100 bucks if you have an aftermarket single din system.
That's monitor, cable and camera.
Monitor is pull out 7 inch screen.

I used a system like that for a year, before putting in my double din JVC monitor/MP3/DVD/SD etc.

Vr3

I recently installed the vr3. I used this one because I wanted a 2nd camera in my 2 horse trailer and didn't want to have an rca cable running to the trailer. What I found is the truck mounted camera gives a slighty blurry picture(mtd on plate). The one in the trailer is mounted up next to the roof
(7'-0") and that picture is very clear. VR3 says the reason is the high camera has no real metal to block the signal like all the metal blocking the signal from the lower camera. It works for me because I only use the plate camera when I back up to hitch up but it's nice having the trailer camera to make sure the horse is ok.

Got mine at WalMart for $98 and change. The camera attaches to your tag bolts and is wired to the backup light wires and the wireless monitor plugs into your cigarette lighter or can be hard wired. Mine works fine and it is works good. Can hitch my travel trailer to my truck easily now. Got it to keep from running over children.
