Truck is sick again

Well it went back to the dealer again. Obviously a loose #1 coil wasnt it. The dealer is now replacing 2 coils and replacing the spark plugs again with an "updated" design plug. Not sure what that means.

Because they [engineers] decided it would be better for the engine.

Updated design? Or colder? If it's colder, it may be they are fighting the lean , pingings of some engines. If it is a redesign, it may be to combat the breaking plugs. Wish we knew for sure.

I doubt its to combat the breakage issue. They just put the "updated" plugs in my truck because I kept having problems with it mis-firing and its had infrequent no-starts since I bought it. It hasn't done either since, knock on wood...

Well whatever it is I got 1 new coil, and new plugs. Dealer paid 500 of it, and I paid 160.
