Question Bully Smoked third brake light help

Well, mine arrived today and maybe it's the lack of sleep, but I'm stumped.

The Bully model has one plug. No instructions were provided.

And I have three plugs from the truck for the stock third brake light, one for each bulb that it has...

It says there is no cutting or modifcations required.

So would I use just one of the stock plugs and tuck the other two back inside the roof openning?

Someone said there's maybe another wire to find under the headliner......is this true?

How difficult was this to figure out?

I got mine all sitting and waiting to go on, and I just don't want to butcher any wiring.

Oh, and for LED bulbs...do I need them? If so, part# for them?

Thanks

There is a plug further back in there bud. I was able to get to mine with a long screwdriver to release the clip. I was told I'd need to drop my headliner as well, which I looked at doing. Not fun. So, get a flashlight, long screwdriver, and be patient. You'll get it. (BTW, my l.e.d. third lamp is the same brand as what you've purchased)

No, you don't need to purchase any bulbs.

Yeah, just be careful when you pull the old light forward. I made the mistake and pulled the OEM light out too swiftly and SNAP! the plug is actually stuck back under the headliner out of my reach. Going to get the wife to reach back there and see if she can get to it. Go easy, you should be able to get to it no problem.

Can you even see it with a flashlight? Or just by feel?

Just wondering how far back (in inches) it is.

Ok, well just got in from finishing the install.....

Yes, the wires for all 3 of the factory bulbs detach, and its just on the other side of the sheet metal under the third brake light location. Just had to pop off one the plastic rivet clamps holding it in place and then it came loose. Unclipped it and plugged the new one in.

Piece of cake.

Thanks for your help guys. Looks awesome!
