Ok, I've been thinking for a while and am planning to start doing a few mod's to the truck. It's a 2006 Screw Lariat 4wd with the 20 inch factory rims and 6.5' bed. I've decided on the Borla exhaust, part #140137, the Airaid intake part number 400-140-1, and a Westin bull bar. I've already added a fold-a-cover to the bed. I'd like to replace the tires with some BF's but hate to spend the money when the tires I have are brand new. I also thought about a bed cap instead of the cover and still might do that next year. If I do I was looking at A.R.E Z series, the Leer 100XQ or the Glasstite GT2000. Anyone else add the items I'm thinking of and how did they work out? Any other mod's I should think about?
Supercharger..... yeah lol, that will be the first thing I think of when I find an extra $6k in a pocket I forgot about.
How about those leveling kits? Are they worth it? How is the ride effected?
Supercharger..... lol I smiled when I saw that but the wife got up and went to bed shaking her head. Good one though.

Depending on how you use your bed I would advise against the A.R.E series covers. Only from the standpoint that they are very hard to remove and put back on because they are very heavy. I have an Undercover on mine and love it, plus it only weighs 58 pounds so I can take it off and put it back on myself. I had an A.R.E on my last truck and loved the look, but it made it very hard to haul big items in the bed.
Have you thought about a new grille?
I think I'll be getting the leveling kit now. Did you go with the metal kit or rubber one? I've seen both advertised and are there any advantages or disadvantages to either?
Thanks for the imput and nice looking truck. I've thought about a new grill but some of the designs I like look more restrictive as far as airflow then the OEM grill so not sure yet.
I like the "fold-a-cover" I have now and was thinking of the cap in case I wanted to use the bed for the dogs while traveling. After more thought I think I'll save the money, stick with the cover I have and through the dogs in the back with the kids. There's enough room back there. I'm glad I went from the Scab to the Screw.
