Not sure what you're referring to. I have a K&N drop-in filter. I don't recal ever mentioning any horror stories about them. If I did say something about the, please refresh my memory.

 

If you're refering to this thread, it wasn't the K&N that I was refering to. I was simply saying that some dealers will try to blame YOU for anything they can. For some dealers, if they see any performance mods (exhaust, intake, chip, etc), they will say that the failure (whatever that might be) is due to the modification that you did. That's one way that they may try to get out of honoring a warranty claim.
