My new edge has started blinking in a red tone....

You may have an alert set that has been triggered or you may have tripped a Diagnostic Trouble Code. Any other warning indicators or lights on?

No there are not any problems that i can tell it is like there is a faint demming in the color to a red tone every few seconds but it is not the whole screen?
Maybe i should unplug the unit and then replug it in?

If it is working I would leave it alone and call EDGE Monday morning and see what they recommend. Problems have happened when plugging and unplugging when there are other issues present.
