Snuglid wiring question
Snuglid wiring question
I searched but I could not find a post I swear I found on here a while ago. It was a how-to on wiring the snuglid to unlock by hitting your factory unlock four times. If anyone knows where I can find this, I would appriciate the help. Thanks
Here's a page from Myst's site that sorta explains it:

I'm still patiently awaiting my SL to be delivered. Should have it in another week or so. I haven't got a clue how I'm going to get it from the Roadway depot to my house.

Im not sure I can give you the answer your looking for, but here's a picture of what I did to solve the problem of carrying around that super huge key that SnugTop gives you. I programmed the third button to pop the top. This may be my favorite mod yet. Of course if your truck is a Lariet you may already have the Homelink and just need to program it.[IMG]

i don't know if snug lid is the same but if it wires to the motor tat unlocks the latch, wire it into the wires in the step sill at the drivers door. just remove it and there are a bunch of wires there. i can't remember the exact colors but you just hook your unlock and lock wires and can use your factory key fob... opens on second click that you use to open rear doors....thats how leer works......

Also a bad idea if someone riding in the cab would press the unlock button on the door, then you'd have to pull over and close the lid. I got a Homelink module off ebay and plan to use that for the garage doors and Snuglid for in the cab unlocking/popping, just can't decide where to mount it yet, I'd like it to be fairly hidden but still easy to reach. I'm currently leaning towards somewhere on the front of my XLT console.
I'd also like to use the four click from the fob but I'm not smart enough to figure it out :o I'd be willing to sign a waiver form in triplicate for a diagram and/or directions
