Angry Having problems with horn sticking ON

About a week ago I was blowing my horn at a another car backing into traffic and it wouldn't go off. I figured the horn ring under the center piece in the steering wheel was stuck in so I hit it a few times and the horn stopped. I tried the horn again and it worked fine. Well the other day I went to blow my horn to a friend as I passed and the horn stuck again and the center piece acted the same so I hit it a couple times and it stopped blowing but when I went to hit it again it was dead. I looked in the fuse panel and sure enough it had blown the 20Amp fuse that it is on. I attempted to put another in but it popped it. Next I had my brother tap on the center horn piece to free it up and tried another and it went in fine. I was wondering if anyone on here has had this happen to them or if any of the ford techs have heard of it...I plan to take it in for a oil change in 2 weeks but I figured I would see if anyone else had an issue.
Any info would be a big help

thanks

The springs that hold the button up sit in plastic cups, the spring may be caught or slipped over the cup touching the metal.

thanks for the info..another odd thing about the horn is that if I dont use it for a week or so it seems as if it is hard to push the horn in..after the first time it seems a lot easier. I dont know if it is possible but could there be corosion in the assembly???? I am now affraid to use it unless it is a dire emergency due to the fact that it stuck again yesterday. My only hope is that it does it when I take it in for the oil change and they can fix it.
