Question Thoughts on Ghost Flames

What's your thoughts on ghost flames?

Here's my truck.

Here's what I'm going for after I get my bumper cover, flares painted and the truck two toned.

I'm thinking of doing some sort of ghost flames like on the Superduty Harley trucks. Thoughts?

Flamer... Seriously they would look great on your truck in just a shade or two lighter grey than the truck.

I agree, do one or the other, I dont think it would look good with both. But it would look really sweet with either or

I's say do the 2-tone or the flames, not both. I'd do some flames.

Another vote for doing just one. I'd personally go for the flames. Good looking truck though.

I really like ghost flames!! One of my buddies has them on his 02 1500 GMC Z71 with 4" lift and 33's. The truck was white with pewter bottom, but after an accident he had the truck repainted all white and had ghost flames put on it. The flames start at the grill, then on the ramair hood, fenders and then ending on the front doors. It looks just killer, even though its on a GMC.

I actually was talking to a friend (that owns a body shop) about painting my whole truck black. and then doing ghost flames. But it was more money that I wanted to put into this truck since I don't really plan on keeping it more than 2 more years.

I would do the flames and skip the 2-tone. But thats just me.

Alright, so I was talking to a friend and showed her what I was planning on doing and asked her opinion as females usually have a better eye for color combinations and what not. She suggested the two tone with the ghost flames, as the ghost flames will break up the starkness of the black two tone and the black wheels; basically it'll break up the bottom half of the truck.

My thinking against keeping it one color and doing the ghost flames it this; with the truck being in the Texas weather that the paint won't match and I wouldn't want the guy tearing into the paint just for the flames.

So it's either two tone with ghost flames or two tone without ghost flames.

I like ghost flames, when done right. I've never quite been able to say what "right" is, but I know it when I see it. I guess this means I'll tell you what I think when/if you get 'em.
