Got an email from Sylvania about SilverStar Lights on a 07

I emailed sylvania the other day because I wanted to make sure I could replace my headlights and fogs with the H13ST (headlight) and 9005ST(Fog Light) because on the web site it shows no information on the 2007 models...

This was the response I got back...
Good Morning Danielle,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Unfortunately, we cannot
look up the information on the 2007 Ford F-150 because we do not have
replacement information available to us yet for the 2007 model year.
Model year 2007 information will not be provided to us by most of the
vehicle manufacturers until the late spring of 2007. If no changes were
made to the headlight assembly between model years 2006 and 2007, then
you can use part number H13ST to upgrade the headlights to SilverStars.
Part H13ST was only launched a couple of months ago so it is only being
sold at the following retail stores:

Advance Auto Parts
AutoZone
GI Joe's
O'Reilly Auto Parts

We have only recently begun shipping this part to these retail stores'
warehouses so it could be another month or two before the product makes
its way from their warehouses to their stores and then out onto the
store shelves. I believe Advance Auto Parts is selling part H13ST online
through their website: www.partsamerica.com. We are currently running
a mail in rebate promotion that offers customers a $5 rebate check with
the purchase of a pair of SilverStars. I have attached the rebate form
to this email for your convenience. Please do not hesitate to contact
me directly if you have any other questions or require further
assistance.

Sincerely,
Heather Kennett

Does anyone know if the headlights and foglights are the same from year 2006 to year 2007? I want to upgrade to SS but want to make sure they will fit...

-I'm sorry if this has been discussed earlier in a thread, but i thought a quote from Sylvania would be nice to post

Danielle

If you're really not sure, you can look in your user manual. It should say H13.

Your manual should list the correct parts. The factory fog is a 9140. A 9145 will give you a 2 watt increase. Others run the 9005 which gives you 50 watts, I think. H13 is still the head light for the 07.

Don't know about others, but the upgrade to H13 Silverstars really wasn't worth the money, like it was on my 03 with the 9007's. Oh well....

Are these new bulbs worth the money. I remember when they first came out people around here said that they were kind of pricey.

I would say the light output from the headlights isnt drastically different but its a cosmetic improvement, if nothing else the fogs are worth the money and then some.
