ice on windshield

ice on windshield

not on the out side on the inside. This morning went to get into my truck and there was ice on teh inside on the winshield it has been raining here the past couple of days and i was wondering if maybe i had a leak i didnt know about or how did this ice form on the inside of the windshield. Thanks to all that could help

If it's a stream of ice, then that's not normal and should be looked into. If it's just a sheet of frost, that's not a surprise... if it was raining, there was a lot of moisture in the air, and the truck was relatively damp inside. Then, if the outside temp fell rapidly, the moisture in the cab condensed on the inside of the window, first forming fog, then frost as the temp dropped. If that's all it was, I wouldn't worry. Keeping the glass clean will help minimize the fogging, but can't always prevent it.

Ditto what GIJoe said.

I'm not sure about these trucks because mine sits in a garage, but it makes a difference on most vehicles to make sure that your heat/air/vent is turned off before you park it.

I am in alabama and have the same problem, I posted a question under OTHER BODY on 1-14-07 under the following post, but no responses and I can not find the leak

if i was in your area I too would have the frost problem

the moisture condenses and runs down the window

I would love to solve the problem
