Yep. That's what happens when you put 9005 bulbs in to replace a 9145 system -- especially HID.
I should add... note the 'throw' of the light.... the lack of focus. This is what happens when you put HID in a place where HID wasn't meant to live.
While I, too, have HID in my fogs with a similar look to what weazel shows, I try to be courteous and pop them off with approaching traffic -- in short, I use them as 'high beams'. I *have* been flashed on several occasions when not dimming.

Thanks weazel. And I paid about $280. Also when they boot up, do they "warm up" or are they instant on?

Yes, I have them too (Lexus OEM HID bulbs and ballasts). But let's all be honest here, it puts of a TON of glare to oncoming traffic. Raise that glare 6+ inches and not you're flat out killing oncoming traffic, no ifs ands or buts about it.
Go for the mod if you're willing to turn them off when oncoming traffic is approaching. But I guarantee the first cop that happens to be your oncoming traffic is going to pull a U turn after you pass and will be pulling you over...that is unless he doesn't swerve when blinded by the light and hit you head on.
Once again, not bashing it as I have them in my stock height F150. But 6 more inches or any more height for that matter and you're spelling big time T-R-O-U-B-L-E, even better then Travis Tritt does.

6k is more blue then I wanted. Note to self; Blue is not cool anymore. Get HIDs for the output not the color. 6k is your best bet if you want blue but still great light. Blue head lights (not the super white, Silver Star's are ok) are like spinner rims they have come and gone. Do everyone a favor and keep 8k and 10k lights for show only.
Duke, lol. I will see what I can do about reducing glare, I'll turn my heads down as far as possible. Maybe figure a way to reshape the housing reflector to sheild oncoming traffic. If not I will resale them, no biggie. I definitely don't need more police attention than I already get, my God it's not even funny.
Ye i heard that something about a $10,000 fine for having HIDs out of a ballast or something sounded like some BS...but i still have em i the fogs and regular heads. I use mine like rock pick was saying as high beams. has anyone ever heard about these new 45watt HID, most HIDs are 35 watt but i saw these new ones that said 45 watt on the ballast and were brighter and blinded people ever more, this disapointed me at first b.c i like to think i have the brigtest "low" beams on the road
Weazel, I just got my 10k bulbs for the heads and fogs in the other day, and love them there not as blue as everyone on here is saying they just look right not to blue but not 2 white either! I still have my 8k's from the heads and fogs just in case I want to switch em up
