They are Sunshine HIDs supposedly from Japan, i think all HIDs are pretty much the same they all are ushally the same Panosinic metal powerpack box but now they make 45watt HIDs which are suposed to be brighter

your fogs are lighting up the stop sign from that distance....big no no.
you're standing fairly close at head level and they appear to be really bright, again not good. you guys are the reason they banned hid 'kits'. it's going to eventually get all hid retrofits banned. those halogen housings were never meant for hid PERIOD. and dont use "how many times people flash me" as a guide for your poorly performing kits. i've passed several cars that were blinding bright, they definitely had the drop in kits.

Don't hate Riken, these are just as likely to get someone in a wreck as loud sound systems...I get damn near close to running those trunk vibratin' bastards over.

I would highly recommend getting HD or better yet the new Hella headlamps if you are planning on running HID's.

I have had HID's 5300K on my truck for over a year with not one person flashing there high beams at me, I even had a buddy drive my truck and I was in his to see if there was to much glare head on and from behind, no issues..

I had put the stock lamps back on due to wanting a new look and selling my HD lamps, I had them on for 2 weeks before I was forced to get new Hella lamps..The stock lamps produced a very bright and annoying glare, in fact I had a person flash there high beams on me for the first time

I recommend going with the Hella lamps because the housing is a ultra flat black ( like primer ) With these lamps the lights are a more concentrated beam of light WITH NO GLARE.. With the stock lamps, the light bleeds and
omits alot of glare.

What are the Hella's going for? I am debating doing HID's just in the fogs or both fogs and headlights. I'm moving a bit farther out of the city and the streets, well dirt roads, don't have street lamps.
