Weight or Gears

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I just upgraded from an 03 SCab to an 06 SCREW. First of all, I know that the SCREW is considerably heavier than the old truck. What I have noticed is that when I put the truck in gear on level ground, either in Drive or Reverse and let off the brake, it does not move at all without giving it some gas. My old truck and the wife's Escape would roll somewhat. I also noticed that when stopped going up a slight incline of maybe 10 degrees, the truck will roll back when I let off the brake. Is this because of the increased weight of the truck or the gears (3.55).

Mine always did this also. It has been brought up in the past. Normal

Truck is heavier. Also, not sure if there is something computerized to retard power at idle...???

my 05 rolled before i got the edge and bumped the idle up some... it drove me crazy! my 98 always went forward when no brake was applied, even on a hill.
