40's

Do ya'll think that with the road armor bumper, an 8"Rize, 2.5 inch spacer in front and an AAL in the back Ill be able to clear 40's on 22's. It looks like it has alot of clearance in front! I have the same truck 2005 Screw Black FX4 MoBann :smoke: |
I think it should be possible but I think I heard even that guy rubs, maybe not. I think Josia might know him too. Either way, he has one badass truck:drool:
|
I wouldn't see why not just check the actual height of the tires. Mine are 39.5 as advertised and fit great. You will need a 4" AAL from Skyjacker to be level, if not you will rub in the back wheels on a hard dip or big bump
keep an eye on the offset on the wheels also the less would keep the wheel inside and eliminate rubbing on the front back fender |
ALL4FORD, do your tires rub when you lock the steering wheel?
MoBann :smoke: |
not a bit nothing zip zero nada
no they don't |
I think that might be a close call, throw on a 3" body as well as the spacer!

all4ford has 8 inch rize 4" AAL and 2 inch spacer and 39.5's and doesnt rub at all. not saying all4ford is lying im wondering why matt rubs so much when you dont. prob his backspacing? |
All4Ford, whens the next time your gonna be up here in mcallen, Id like to take a closer look at your truck ill prolly end up running your suspension setup.
MoBann :smoke: |
im tyring to find out a way to lift my truck like 2 more inches to keep my 38's without rubbing at all
anyone any ideas? |
Spacer up front? Or CoilOvers
MoBann :smoke: |
3 icnh bl may be my only choice...but i dont want that gap....my front bumper....and side steps and all that stuff.
i dont really want a spacer.....cause the huge spacer already the rize has underneath. mabye ill have to get dirt logics.....and a spacer...and crank... OR king coilovers.... :( |
rize has stock front coilovers with a spacer that goes underneath them instead of the others that are on top.
|
they have available king coilovers now. 1200 for them and 1500 for them with rese4rvoirs.

interesting...I would've thought it'd have a full new coilover. |
one thing I and the shop looked into was that RIZE doesn't widen the front susp like most 6" lifts do. I think they widen like 1.5" which would stick the wheel out even more.
What I was gonna get instead of the spacer are the Donahoe Coils that were like 200.00 extra and would have done the same 2.5" extra on a new coil. |
