HID? or whatever

My dad just called and said he picked up some of those headlight bulbs that make your lights like sort of blue ish or whiteish. I knew what he ment. He said the company was hella. Does hella make good bulbs? He said he was gonna put them on his truck to see if they look good and if I like them he said he'll pick me up a pair. Should I just get those silverstars every one is talking about and compare them to the hellas? Does any one know if the silverstars are more expensive than Hella?

At Advance, the Hella bulbs cost more than the Silverstars, but they don't have H13s.

I'd assume Hella is fine... they're definitely a reputable company within the automotive world. The blue 'hue' that you describe is created by bulb coatings -- not by the light color being generated. Trust me, it'll be nothing like HID...
