Tailgate won't close, then falls open when driving!

My Supercab has done this every winter since it was new. All you can do is spray a good moly or lithium grease into the latches and give it a solid bang when you close it.

Do you have spray in bed liner? I've noticed with spray in, along with rubber tailgate guards at top left and right corners of bed, protrudes farther out than stock, pushing against the tailgate and causing difficult/faulty closure. If so, just remove stock rubber guards and trim off a few millimeters to allow easier closure.
