'07 F/S SCAB 4x4: Daystar or ??

I've just traded in my '04 which had the Daystar 2" leveling Kit. My new '07 is ready for it's first mod. Is there anything new that does the same thing but better for leveling?

I have the AutoSpring design with the off-set and I love it. Can't beat the price or the great customer service.

Bilsteins are great shocks...

but I don't see how the leveling effect a Daystar spacer equates to shocks. Maybe adjustable ride height? Please elaborate...

Read the information in the links I provided. These are not just shocks, but Bilstein shocks and a leveling kit in one. They are superior to the Daystar spacers.

I'll look into this for sure, sounds like the perfect solution! I'm anxious to find out if taller coils are available as well.

Skyjacker makes the 3 in coil over, but I know of two people that have had problems with them. I think it's just a bit too much lift.

Just today I removed my 2.5 Daystar spacers and had Bilstein 5100's F+B installed. Trust me, skip the spacers and go with these shocks The ride quality and feel is awesome 10X better than with stockers and spacers, you will not regret it. These will level your truck out, I wish I would had gone with this setup from the begining.

Rancho and Fabtech also make replacement coilover shocks that feature adjustable spring preload so you can level your truck. As for just leveling kits, the Autospring kit is a lot easier to install than the Daystar spacers.

Thanks to all! Paging Virtygo(?)

Thanks for your input, I was leaning towards the Daystars again but after digesting the info on this site, I think the Bilsteins mught be the way to go.

There's a member who lives near me in South OC(So Cal) by the name of Virtygo(?)who has the Bilsteins, I'd like the chance to see his install.

X2 what he said. I had my Bilsteins installed a couple weeks ago and I am very pleased. I killed 2 birds with 1 stone also. 39" up front now (2" lift) and 40" in the rear (stock height but better ride). Good stuff

I went with the regular Bilsteins with the autospring 2". I have had the Bilsteins before and didn't feel comfortable going with the new adjustable design at the time, but from the many positive posts here I would not have any problem with either type now. If your going to level the truck I would go with the Bilstein adjustables. They are excellent shocks.
