'07 Painted Mirror Skull Cap on '06 ?

'07 Painted Mirror Skull Cap on '06 ?
Now that the 2007s have painted skull caps available, is it possible to buy pre-painted 'skull caps' directly from Ford? Is the "skull cap" a separate piece that detaches from the mirror assembly?

Yes, seperate peice only on 2007 mirrors ONLY.

No, PTM only.
