H13 Silverstars - WHERE?????

Any suggestions on where to find the elusive H13's? I've looked online, ebay and some local parts stores and nothing. The counter people give me that, I don't have a clue, response when I ask....

I'm in NH, some place local would be great, but an online source would be great too...

Thanks

Stock 9145, Silverstar 9145ST. Number is in the owners manual as far as base. If you don't have one, you can download one at www.motorcraftservice.com. In the owners section.

Thanks, I'm now the high bidder on that new auction. The local parts stores don't stock them and a few of the places I too found from my google search list them as out of stock. Must be a big demand for these things.

Thanks!

hopefully you'll like them... I had to switch to them from some CRAPPY nkoya bulbs. they looked sweet and were an awesome hid like color but they SUCKED. I couldn't see crap ever, driving down a country road was a shot in the dark. worst of all the high beams on those burnt out like the second time I ever used them. they lasted about 6 months and then the low beam blew... switched to the silverstars and while I don't like the color I do like being able to see again

While the Silverstar bulbs are a definite improvement over stock, they're still kind of lousy. I'd have to say, I'm pretty let down... especially after having been blown away by them in my stock fogs initially...

I'll second RP's post.

I went from stock to Xtra Vision H13s, and they were a step up, but not that great.

I went from XV-H13s to Silverstar H13's, and it was another small step up, but nothing like I had in my '01.

Maybe sit on the side lines, and see if they make a Silverstar ULTRA liek they are for the '99 -'03 range. I think these are relabled OSRAM EEC ( European ) bulbs. If they are, these are better then the Silverstars ( again in the non H13 ). I have them in my Motorcycles ( H4 ) and in Dad's RV ( HELLA conversions for H4 bulbs in the outside pair, and high beams converted to H1 HELLA housings ).

I got both my Fog and H13 lamps at the local Autozone. The fogs 9145ST's put out mroe light then the H13 headlamps now. Not the '01 setup, but all I have to work with today.

XV-H13's vs. H13 - Silverstar at ~24" to bulb ( not lense ) Driver's side =H13 Silverstar / Pass XV-H13:

The color difference is the big thing, not a whole lot more output like my '01 had. Maybe slightly wider pattern then the XV-H13's ??

If you have problem with e bay or whatever, I can get it for you if you want to, i e mailed you. I dont need to make money for that just pay for shipping and cost of bulbs thats all.. i bet shipping shouldnt more than 3-5 bucks.

I just saw a commercial last night for the Ultra's. It's the one in the desert. I could swear they are using an F150 for the commercial. Does that mean there are Ultra's for our trucks??
