New Mirror

Well, I cracked the glass on my old mirror, went to the dealership and ordered a new piece of glass for thew drivers side mirror. anyone know how to install the glass???

Dii you just get the glass only or the glass with the backing plate attached??
And is it heated???

its not heated and i beleieve the backing plate is on it. it has a black plastic back with two metal clips

Just pull the old one off.. then pop the new one on!

It really simple. I had to do it when someone hit my mirror and replace the glass. So like i said, just pull on it and it will pop out then pop the new one on.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Exterior Mirror Glass
Removal
NOTE: If equipped with power folding mirrors,
they must be synchronized any time the mirrors
have been folded or unfolded without using the
mirror control switch. Refer to Exterior Mirror
Motor Synchronization — Power Folding in this
section.
1. Position exterior mirror glass in the full UP
position.
4. Remove the exterior mirror glass.
2. Locate the notch at the bottom of the exterior • If equipped with heated mirrors, disconnect
mirror glass. electrical connectors from the exterior mirror
glass.
3. Release the exterior mirror glass.
Installation
1 Insert a long flat-bladed screwdriver in the
notch.
1. If equipped with heated mirrors, connect the

3. CAUTION: Place a clean shop towel
between hand and exterior mirror glass to
prevent injury in the event of glass breakage.

place until it is fully seated.
