I couldn't agree more! I subliminally inserted a bit of sarcasm earlier for your reading pleasure.

Out in the sand you need 4 wheel drive. Unless you keep up speed which get almost impossible going up sand dunes.

The sand I drive on is packed hard. Loose sand I have to keep up the speed or it's stuckville, but there's plenty of 4by's to pull people out for a small nominal fee.

Yea. My dumbass tried to follow my friends 4x4 into the dunes to get to a certain hill everyone parties at. My buddy stoped, and I stopped as well. Needless to say that my truck got super burried. My buddy tried to pull me out but his little Yota couldnt do it. They had to get a snow cat to yank me out of the sand, for a fee of 20 bucks and 10 beers.

That would be fun and suck at the same time!! One of my friends moved out there a few days before that happened, and she has a small front wheel drive car... Needless to say she was stuck, and not able to go to her new job..

You can't fool me.... I know how Texas weather is..

One of my buddies moved up here from there.. We got two inches of snow, and he was scared to drive his 4x4 lifted dodge ram... He had never seen that much snow in his life!!

I lived down there for awhile, and definitely wouldn't mind moving back someday...

Yeah, we don't get snowstorms way down here, we get ICEstorms. Try driving on 1/2" thick ice for miles. That's fun.
