At the dealership...

Last week i brought my truck in for the famous ticking noise and brake squealing. In addition to those I also had a blend door actuator problem. A week later i am back in to have the blend door fixed and everything else was "normal". I posted this when it happened but the service advisor did not document the engine ticking. So the first thing i did when i got here this morning is showed my receipt to the advisor and I began letting him have it. He cut me off shortly saying that while my truck was in the shop a "thunk" was heard from the low end but by the time the engine technician got there it wasn't heard anymore! Just my luck but atleast they heard it! They damn sure better document it this time!

On the bright side, i had a plastic piece that i accidently broke and they said they would replace it without me even asking. Its the piece that goes around the windshield wiper arm.

I hope i am not here all day but i have no ride so i better just sit back and get comfortable!

I just received an update on my truck. They are doing cam phasers, replacing drive shaft, doing something with the back window, and water testing for leaks. I will know more tomorrow... It has 11k miles on it

Sorry for the delay on the report back from dealership.

I had my blend door actuator replaced and my dash doesn't make any more farting (for lack of a better word) noises.
Of course the noise in the engine could not be duplicated butdon't worry i was assured it would make it again and when it did to bring it right in for a diagnosis! YAY!

Now i'm trying to get in touch with the body shop because my clearcoat peeling on my front bumper. No answer so i am assuming the may not be open on sat. but i figured they would be.

Man....there is absolutly nothing worse than an intermittant problem, Murphy's law always prevails due to the fact the problem stops as soon as you pull into the dealers service bay.
I had a problem with my truck not idling right, it would die at stop lights, rev to 5k when starting etc. Everytime i took it in they would tell me "there is nothing wrong" Finally after 5 months of the damn thing stalling on me, it finally threw the engine light. Took it in, new throttle body and all is well.

I stopped at the dealer today to get my phone charger cord out of my truck and this is what they have done so far. They have replaced 3 more injectors, 3 plugs and 3 coil packs, rear driveshaft, rear window insulation, rear window motor, fixed drivers door window rattle, both cam phasers, oil change again, waiting for Fords response on the seat cushion. Water leak unable to duplicate. Re-aligned front end due to tire wear.....11k miles....

I will let you know tomorrow. It's supposed too. I have to go on a ride with the tech to show him the noise with the right rear wheel drive bearing.
