Quick question about the EDGE

So I hope this hasn't been beaten to death, I searched for a few minutes, but couldn't find the answer. I like what I have heard about the EDGE programmer, but I am not a fan of the pod installed on the dash. I dont need to monitor speed, engine, etc. Can I plug it in, tune the truck and then unplug it, or do I have to always leave it plugged in? If it is the latter, can I hide it under the dash or something, or must I often use it, power on, etc.

Thanks for the help,
-Chris

YES... you can plug it in, program your pcm then unplug it. Key off when you unplug it and key on when you plug it back in. If you keep it plugged in you get the additional gauges. Have fun with it.:santa: :santa:
