Alright then, I'm going down tomorrow and getting myself another Chevy Silverado. They look much better with a longbed.

you know who you are, the same people who bought mini vans when they were popular, and then all bought explorers in the early 90's

CrazyNipper... Lets see your truck? I bet its a long bed 4X4 with a huge lift and covered with mud and ten sheets of ply wood in the back with a ladder rack on top and all kinds of paper work on the dash. Now thats a truck, Right! Post some pictures of your BEAST. Show us what a REAL truck is.

I do love my short bed mostly because of the shorter wheel base. The 6.5ers look good also. But the long beds are sure out there. I have a 12ft trailer I use for anything that doesn’t fit in the bed & it makes it so much easier to load & unload anyway. And yes my truck will never see the off road or the mud. That is why I have the Explorer a $2000 don’t care if it takes out a tree or two four wheeler! I can’t see spending this kind of money on my truck just to go out a destroy it off road. But hey, if that’s how ya roll good fur you. But it is good to know that I can go anywhere if I ever have to!! And the way this weather has been lately it's a good investment.. But anyway, whatever turns ya on, go for it. By the way when were mini vans popular??
