P0191 Dtc?

Anyone else run into DTC P0191 (Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance) on the 3v 5.4L yet? I was driving up the toll road today & speeding up to merge from the booth when all of a sudden the truck wouldn't rev past 3k (almost felt like a fuel shutoff rev limiter kicking in) in 2nd or shift into 3rd until I let way off the throttle. I could duplicate it over & over again the whole drive home. At minimal throttle she's fine & shifts smooth as ever. I just don't see how I could be starving the engine of fuel that bad. As of know I'm thinking it's maybe contamination in the fuel. So, when I got to the house I changed the fuel filter, added a pint of Seafoam to the tank, topped it off w/some Sunoco 93, & rebooted my 93 perf. tune w/the x-cal. So far so good as of now but I wanted to get some input from you guys if it's happened to anyone here. I searched the forums but only found two threads & both were dead ends.

Mods listed in sig.

Good man. Have you checked the fuel rail pressure with the EDGE yet? What did it show? How much gas did you have in the tank when this happened.?

no EDGE I bought a Superchips X-cal before the EDGE was around. I had a little over 1/2 a tank at the time.

Hmmm. Can't blame it on low fuel running away from the pickup. Fuel pump may be getting ready to go south on you. I don't know, just a guess.
