first ? is how big of a tire can i put on a 04 FX4 with out a leving kit and if i level the truck with a redy lift kit do i have to put a longer shock on the front end ????

Im not sure on how big of a tire you can put on without lifting it, but if you install that lift you should be able to fit 33's easy. And you wont have to get new shocks in the front if you install the ready lift.

 

With a 2 or 2.5 inch leveling kit, you can fit 35x12.50's on a 4x4 using the OEM wheels or 33's using an aftermarket wheel. You can fit 33's without the leveling kit. Also, isn't the Ready Lift pretty expensive? I seem to remember it being advertised at around $200. Most other kits are around $100.
