off roading results of 37's and 11" of lift
I havent been online for a while.... first off , when i go off roading..i go ***** out....I have had excellent results from my recent addition of 2.5" spacer and rear add-a-leaf equalling a total of 11" of lift....I went out to Hesperia, Ca with some buddies for the weekend....MY TRUCK IS ABSOLUTLY SICK! I went up hills that my buddy had to bypass with a 4 stroke dirtbike...(at the top of the hill, all you see is clouds!!!)....it totally kicked ***...went up all but one hill..(i tried that hill at least 25 times,,,could not do it!!...not enough traction)however...i obtained some scratches and broke a tailight from bushes on my nice black paint...but i was following a dirt bike and a sandrail on the trails and hills, and kept up with no probs, oh well, i built it for off roading...they can be buffed out though...so i had no rubbing, or bottom out issues....even hit some whoops....overall, very happy with my suspension setup....in the future, maybe 38"s but no bigger!!!

I would love to see some pix or vids though.
Man the guy comes on here to let us know he is happy with his ford truck and recent mods and everyone has something sarcastic to say. I have driven my offroad toy (modified samurai) up hills steep enough a 4 wheeler could not go up. Seems to be a dirt bike has a simliar center of gravity. Point is about anything is possible and none of us where there to see any different

[QUOTE=thooor] No way in hell a truck or jeep follows me up some of our local trail hills when I'm on the 4 stroke.

how do you figure when the jeeps and trucks have a much lower center of gravity? I run a OHV here in texas and dont see dirt bikes attempting any of the nastier hills we drive the trucks up. Too steep with too many ledges. They use the go around and we go right up. Then again maybe they are ALL new riders

thanks for negative comments...j/kyea it was the dirt bike riders 1st time on a bike....and the bike is mine and I could say, I dont think I would have made it either up that portion of the hill....he kept flipping/laying the bike down - so he took another path - me however had no choice, this is where i obtained the very long scratch along the side of my truck...and i was not going to back through the bushes to avoid the hill an get another scratch, so i put it in 4-low and crawled up it....i really dont care if you guys dont believe me....hell iv never even met any of you!!!
I agree with a comment above that jeeps and small 4 wheel vehicles can go up hills that bikes cant/wont...anyone can haul *** up a hill on a bike - but lose all traction half way up do to only 1 wheel drive - a well geared/tired 4 wheeler can cautiously crawl up almost anything
as for pics/video - sorry didn't even think about it at the time - was having to much fun, but i can show some nice sratches from the aftermath...
next time i go out ill bring a camera...but im really considering getting a Suzuki Samurai 4 wheeler and having a lot more fun without the paint/body damage in the near future

Anyways I am stoked to see your using your truck but I can bet anyone on here that I will go up ANY dirt hill that an F150 can go up (no rockcrawling) on my 2wd sport quad. By the way...where did you go froadin' at?
Lets see some pictures next time you go out!
I was about to say the same thing.
