Just run up the credit card

I decided that it was time to spend some money on my truck

-3 rolls of RAAMaudio sound dampening mat
going to try and sound deaden(is that a word?) the doors, floor and back of the cab...the driver door has an annoying rattle when i listen to music

-seat lift from lmi welding
i wanted to add some bass to my country music, so i am going to install the 2 12" subwoofers that are sitting in my garage. I know this is gonna be a HUGE overkill for my country but i didnt want those woofers to go to waste and then buy another woofer...after i get all my new goodies installed i will take it a friends shop and he's gonna build me a box and install the woofers for me

-Alpine IVA-W200 Head Unit
i wanted the ipod control and everyone seems to say that it will make my door speakers sound better and woofers( i already have boston acoustics NSX, i think that is the model), and it plays DVDs and it look damn good. i opted for the ipod connector, brake bypass, screen protector (might be unnecessary, but the unit was expensive and i want to protect it), and i last thing i got was the adapter for the steering wheel controls

i hopefully get all this stuff by the end of next week and i will start all the installs next friday...and i will be sure to post pictures

so far I've only done my front and rear suicide doors with some dynomat x treme. Made a nice difference, I can't wait to do the floor...but you should consider doing the roof as well, I've heard it makes a considerable difference..and if your at it already, it's probably the easiet spot to cover...

doo dee roof, doo dee roof

no really the biggest dif was in the rain after I did 3 layers on my roof. you can barely hear the rain. and of course doing the doors which killed the road noise after about 3 layers on the ext skin and anoter 3 on the int skin covering jp the gaping holes. the floor has enuff deadener from the factory believe it or not. I actually wasted my time doing mine but it really isn't necessary the back wall needed some attention. that got 2 layers and enuff great stuff to plug up paris hilton

I think i might take your advice and do the roof and if there is any mat left over, i will put it on the floor....i am pretty sure that i saw pictures of your truck completely stripped in the interior and so i am guessing you know what you are talking about
