I also found these they are a low beam only but they loook like they have a sheild on top to cut down on glare.

HID's will be very simple to install and you can get a quality kit on ebay for around $150 shipped, i don't think I would spend whatever the saleen kit would be, let alone more than $150 or so...although I don't know anything about it (saleen kit), i don't really know what they could offer that isn't already out there right now
I am biased towards the PUREVISION brand..I have used them on all my bikes and they have taken a beating...tons and tons of wheelings, endo's, (stunting) with no failures to date.....
as far as the temp ratings......the 6000k is what i would recomend....It has a nice blue hughe and throws off a ton of light...any higher of a rating..say 8000k, yeah they will have more a a blue tint, but you will have it at a sacrafice of illumination performance....
the bi xenon lamps are the High/low...however i don't really think it's needed...the xenon illuminates so much better in the first place that it may be close to if not better than the stockers visibility on high...
you're decision though...but consider this, for the added cost of the bi xenon you could do your headlights and 9005's in your fogs for about the same cost...and the later would be much much better performing..
hope this helps

Holy glare batman....
Not only that, while I appreciate the posts as of late helping people and answering questions....we really need to work on the picture resizing. It's not so fun reading half you sentence and then scrolling to the right to read the other half.

Here is the proof:
the first video is great because not only does he have one HID kit in one headlight and the other stock to show good differences but you can also tell just how much glare you get. Also notice that the halogen side is actually puting out more useable light on the GROUND, where it counts!

Check out this HORRIBLE narrow beam pattern. Notice how blue and stupid everything looks. Smurf-style y0!

weazel......I can't say for certain...but if i were a betting man...which i am...I'd give 1000 to 1 odds that it's significantly more blue...
i thought i saw somewhere that the silverstars produce a hue similair to that of a 4k or something...I'm looking for it now but not finding it....

don't know why that pic shows up like that, it was taken at the same time as the others on the same camera...everything exactly the same...

DUKE....that guy must have done a bad install or something....I've never seen those results before.....and...that guy must have one real high rating on those bulbs..they were throwing off no light and looked very blue...i wouldn't be surprised if they were a 10 or 12k kit....which is really only intended for show only and not street use...
My aston came stock with 6k temp bulbs.... and they in no way make everything look "smurfy," go beyond that point and they will. A 6k bulb will really illuminate the road much more than a halogen..can't even really compare..
and as for the glare on my bike...you see it on the one side because my headlights function individually...One side is low beam and the other is high..my high is focused to shoot into peoples eyes on purpose during the day so all the grandma's and soccer moms see me...
