I think you will be happy with your edge, even with the problems i'm having i'm still happy with it. I think the problems i'm having are a fluke. I may not have to tow if the custom calibration the engineers are making for me works. If i do have to tow i'm taking it to Five Star Ford in north richland hills, those guys have the best service department in the metroplex. They completely rebuilt my transmission in 2 days and paid for my rental car.

I have a friend who works at the Hillard Autopark as a mechanic. He does all my work and is a very good mechanic. No complaints from me. I got a comped rental from them every time.

I'm moving to Fort Worth next week from Houston. You guys think Five Star Ford is the best in that area? I am looking for a good service department there because I don't any dealers there and I have some warranty stuff I will probably get taken care of before it runs out.

I just can't believe you get better service there than form the bumpkins at County Line Ford.

They're good for oil changes, nothing more.

Not even that all the time. I had to argue with an assistant service manager that my truck took 7 quarts. I check it before i drive off, it was a quart low.

Had to get the truck towed... I ended up taking it to hillard. They did a good job, even washed and vacumed my truck for free. All in all it cost me 209 for the tow and reflash. Truck runs normal like stock. Aaron at edge is sending me a new edge with a shipping label to ship the old edge back. I'm faxing him the receipts from the tow/reflash and he is reimbursing me in full. WHAT A PAIN IN THE ***!!!

Yes that is a pain but at least EDGE is stepping up to the plate and they are going to reimburse you and replace your Evo. That sounds like pretty good customer service to me. Thanks for keeping us posted.

No problem, Even though it has been a pain, EDGE has softened the blow 10 fold, if only every company had customer service like them. Although, the first customer service guy I talked to (Jared) said that they would only reimburse for up to $75, then I called the next day and talked to Aaron and he told me that they would foot the be bill for the entire ordeal. By the way the root of the problem was the actual EDGE itself, it was faulty.

Maybe Jared can hook you up with some Subway too. I'm glad Hillard hooked you up. I've had no problems with their service dept.
