I'd like to be able to give you that answer however while installing mine yesterday I broke two spark plugs and these two are the ones closest to the firewall. I can't even see inside the damn hole's but I know the ground strap and porcelin is stuck and I did follow the TBS however I used PB Blaster.

The whipple is a nice high quality kit and it's a fairly easy to install provided you don't break any plugs.

You wouldn't know it is there until you decide to get on it. You'll here the intake start sucking air a little before hearing the blower kick in. Once you get on it though, it speaks up pretty well. While I was towing a trailer from Vegas to Alaska, I had to pass through three major mountain ranges. After the first one, we got some ear plugs for the next big climb.

It is plenty audible from the outside as well. We would cruise the strip in Las Vegas and when we'd see a group of girls, I'd rev it up a few times to whistle at them. Got a lot of good responses doing that. The whine is a lot louder on the drivers side than the passanger side.

If you don't love the sound of it, there is something wrong with you.

No sweat. The real problem with the whine is that it isn't there all the time. You have to get the RPM's up to hear it, so gas mileage goes to crap.

Thanks! I'm sure you could get used to the power, then you get the bug and you need more, and more, and more...

you can change the amount of whine by the tightnes of the belt, cant remeber wheather tighter or looser makes it louder
