Thinking about bug shield.. Where to find 3M tape to protect..
I'm looking to put a hood/bug shield on the front of my 07.. However, I would like to protect my paint with some of that 3M protection tape before is goes on.. I've seen it in the past that is a few inches wide.. Anyone know where to find this stuff?

Your bugshield on the 07 should mount just like mine on my 04 and you will not need the tape. The bugshield mounts under your grill and does not really come in to contact with the visiable side of the hood at all.

Smooth SL, I know what you are talking about,I usually run a strip of 3m clear tape on the leading edge of the hood, before I put a bug shield on to help prevent any abrasion on the paint.Most Auto Glass places, or trim places, will sell you a small Quantity( by the foot). Clear lens tape for fixing headlights also works well.
